The gallery houses two significant permanent collections.

-Centrall Newfoundland Visual Arts Society (CNVAS) permanent collection

-Albert Hillier collection. 20 large, original full-colour drawings on paper of historic landmarks in GF-W, most now disappeared. 8 x 10 prints of these drawings available for purchase ($10) from the Box Office at the Pinsent Centre.

The Gordon Pinsent Centre for the Arts houses the Gwenolyn Cooper Art Gallery, you can view numerous artists artworks. The gallery features a permanent collection of Newfoundland and Labrador Art called the Project 2000. This collection features works from the province’s best visual arts like David Blackwood, Christopher and Mary Pratt, Gerald Squires and Grant Boland to name a few. Also featured throughout the year are exhibition of local artworks by the talented artists of the region.
